Since COVID-19 outbreak began, physical experiences have been often compromised by virtual ones. To compensate the lack of physical interactions with the world, I have been exploring ways to create computer simulations of physical phenomena. Using Microsoft Kinect that I had at home, I 3D scanned myself and objects around me to create 3D models. The 3D models are available online for the audience to navigate with their mouse. As an artist mainly working in sculpture, I am fascinated with physical and tactile properties of the world. During the time of COVID, I hope to continue my exploration on three-dimensional space through digital medium and stay connected with the world.
